Per the Calvary Cemetery by-laws, any flowers or decorations directly on the ground at gravesites will be removed during mowing season. Mowing season is April 1st through November 1st. Calvary Cemetery is the only Catholic Cemetery in Rushville, Indiana. The grounds for the cemetery were purchased in 1873 under Fr. Leo Adams. Many former pastors and parishioners of St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception have been buried at this cemetery.

As of January 2024, the current rates for plots* at Calvary Cemetery are:

• Single Graves: $825.00 (includes grave and footer)
• Single Footer: $325.00 (only includes footer)
• Opening and Closing Fees for All Burials: $175.00
• Outer Burial Containers for All Cremation Burials: $150.00**

As of January 2024, the current rates for burial* at Calvary Cemetery are:

• Casket (Monday-Friday): $700.00
• Casket (Saturday): $750.00
• Cremation Ashes (Monday-Friday): $400.00**
• Cremation Ashes (Saturday): $450.00**
• Oversize Digging/Infant/SB: $ Quote

Only one burial per grave is permitted. An outer burial container is required (casket or cremation). Two cremations may be buried in one single grave.
