This program is for Candidates who have been instructed in their faith through catechetical preparation. Generally candidates are 8^th grade or older. Candidates begin preparation in the fall, usually of their 8th grade year, and are confirmed in October or November of the following year. Candidates attend classes two Sundays a month and must attend a retreat held at the parish in February. Sponsors and Parents are to attend an April meeting. The use of the Religion Curriculum Guide of the Archdiocese of Indianapolis in Religious education programs insures that the foundational doctrine has been presented to these students..
